Microscopes for Education

SIOS also has a complete range of camera and imaging options suitable for both students and presentation.

Junior Student Microscopes

M100FLED

The M100 is a solid and known entity. The frames are common, and our factory adds their own reasonable quality objectives and eyepieces. These are generally recommended for primary schools and potentially up to year 9. It is available in either a monocular with 4x, 10x, 40x objectives, and a simple stage (M100-FLED) . The M100-FBM is the same microscope but a binocular with a mechanical stage, 100x oil immersion objective. Both LED rechargeable.

Senior Student Microscopes

E3MS
E3MS

The E3 range is a more capable and robust instrument. It has been especially designed for senior school students (grades 9 – 12) as it takes the same format as the microscope students will use in later study or in the work place. Available in mono- or binocular versions. A simple stage version of the monocular is available, but the mechanical stage versions are generally recommended. All LED rechargeable, no cords to move around

Teaching Microscopes

Teachers and need a little bit more size and function compared to students, and the E5 Compound Microscope is a very capable unit that is often used in more demanding environments like vet clinics. It’s bigger size makes it easier to use, and the Trinocular version can have a standard c-mount camera attached, including options that will connect directly to a large screen or projector. Rechargeable LED for easy movement around.

Student Stereo-microscopes

Stereo-microscopes, sometimes called dissecting microscopes, are great for lower magnification tasks, especially where the specimen moves or is manipulated. Our ST30R-2LED rechargeable model is a very robust model that has good optics and 20x and 40x total magnification.

USB eyepiece cameras

The TP-SP505 is a 5MP is an excellent addition to our students microscopes for teaching

and capturing images
